We adapted the baggage door hinge in order to make the door removable. A doubler with nutplates backs up the F-1058 hinge frame. This way the frame is not weakened by the required holes for the nutplates. Now the hinge can be screwed on and off.
First, we installed the parking brake cable, since afterwards that would be much harder, also drilled holes for the engine mount for the same reason. Bucking these rivets involved some serious yoga, no pictures…
Opted for the PH Flap Motor has integrated stop and position sensor. Built a bracket to hold the heavier motor and riveted an aluminum strip into the tunnel to attach wires routed through the tunnel behind the flap motor.
